About this Event

This session will review the impacts of climate change on water quality and energy sustainability. The session will present data about Stockton water quality and energy use and offer alternative ways to conserve, save money and think about household water and energy use. The session will also discuss the water quality of our San Joaquin Valley watersheds, namely the Delta.

This session will review the importance of tree health in Stockton and kick-off the field work for the Resident Stockton Tree Census in three sites across the Rise Stockton project area. Through rigorous data analytics and fieldwork, residents engage in understanding the locations of city maintained trees, find examples of various species, and to view them as they sit.

Catch Rise Stockton at Stockton’s Earth Day Festival!

Stockton and San Joaquin County will celebrate its 31st Earth Day Festival on Sunday, April 14, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Victory Park behind Haggin Museum. “Bus, Bike, Take a Hike” is the theme of this area’s premier environmental event and will focus on educating local residents in taking care of our environment by "Moving Green". It is a fun day for kids and families, and admission is free.
