The Rise Stockton Coalition embraces a future for Stockton that creates a sustainable, equitable, livable city in collaboration with community members, local government, and regional business leaders. We’re proactively building that future by striving for equity, livability and sustainability for the frontline communities we serve.

Mission

The Rise Stockton Coalition’s mission is centered on our partners. We believe in our ability to collectively advocate for and establish an environmentally just city that is resilient to climate change, operates a robust green economy, and is sustainably planned.

Goals

Rise Stockton aims to:

Advocate for underrepresented groups, and aggregate a system of purpose and goals from partner organizations.
Collaborate through ongoing dialogue among partners to identify gaps and program opportunities in policy and programming,
Communicate the environmental justice needs of Stockton communities to broad audiences
Support low-barrier or free training and workshop opportunities to individuals and groups to build their capacity for climate resiliency, environmental justice advocacy, and green economy creation.
